"MY LEFT BREAST"
at 7 Stages

Two agencies starting the year off by working together

WHAT: ABOUT THE PLAY
Winner of the Obie Award for Best Play

One of the most engrossing and personal plays to address the issue of breast cancer in recent memory, My Left Breast, in this fresh three-character restaging, follows the journey of a woman who refuses to become a victim in her battle with cancer. In fast succession, Susan goes from being married and a mother, to being a single parent and a lesbian, then to being a cancer patient, a fighter, and finally a whole person – even without her left breast. Funny, heartwarming, and poignant, My Left Breast gives glimpses of the impact cancer has on the most and least significant people in Susan’s life, reminding us that everyone you see has been part of someone’s circle of recovery.

An Atlanta premiere.

A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR o f P.A.L.S.

We ended 2006 with a bang, and hit the floor running in 2007.

Here are my resolutions / promises for P.A.L.S.

  • To constantly service our clients, both human and animal, to the best of our ability.
  • To make sure that whoever needs our help or support, gets it in a way that is dignified and respectful.
  • To continue partnerships and outreach with other service organizations, thus expanding our not only our client base but our exposure to the general population.
  • To constantly bring in new events and revamp our old ones to reach a broader base of supporters for the new year.
  • TO CONTINUE TO MAKE P.A.L.S. THE INCREDIBLE ORGANIZATION IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN!!!

These things I pledge
Rick Westbrook
