A search to find the next Pets Are Loving Support (PALS) Spokesqueen & Side Kick to the infamous Bubba D. Licious! The winner of this competition will be asked to represent PALS at official events and functions of the organization as well as co-emcee the monthly bingo fundraiser, which takes place the second Wednesday of each month.
Participation in this search competition constitutes full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of all rules and guidelines set forth in this document. The search competition is sponsored by Pets Are Loving Support (PALS) and will be governed by the members of the PALS Bingo Committee and Board of Trustees.
All decisions of the committee and/or board of trustees are final. The PALS Search Competition runs from the second Wednesday in September, 2010 to the Second Wednesday in February, 2011. The Sponsor reserves the right to change the dates.
Written notification of your desire to participate in this competition is the first step of the application process. In addition to written notification, applicants are encouraged to submit any support documentation they feel will increase their chances to be selected. This documentation may be in the form of photographs, video or audio recordings.
Be creative and unique. Applicants will compete on a first come – first served basis.
All material submitted will become the property of the organization and will be used
for the organization’s promotion at the discretion of the board of trustees. Do not do anything in connection with creating your presentation, which might endanger anyone, including yourself or which could cause damage to property or your application may be disqualified.
To be eligible to compete, you must be over the age of 21. All applicants should be a resident of the Greater Atlanta area and MUST be able to clear a criminal background check and meet the eligibility requirements set forth by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.
Only one entry per person will be accepted. Multiple entries will be cause for disqualification of that applicant.
Written notice to the executive director will constitute entry.

Contestants will be required to co-emcee one monthly bingo fundraiser. At this bingo, the contestant will interact with the other co-emcee and will be required to perform one song during intermission for the audience. Contestants will be judged on creativity, presentation, interaction with the other emcee and the ability to motivate and engage the audience. Monthly theme’s have been pre-selected and will not be altered to accommodate the contestants. All contestants will be notified of the theme for the night of their audition. The contestant’s ability to utilize the selected theme in their wardrobe and performance is critical.
Promotion of Pets Are Loving Support and increasing awareness of our mission is vital to the Spokesqueen position and contestants must demonstrate a commitment to such.
Performance should not contain nudity or any other content that would be considered inappropriate for audiences of varied demographics.
All applications are subject entirely to the discretion of the organization, whose decisions are final.
Participation
The winner of this competition will become a PALS Spokesqueen and must be able to promote, attend and work at each of the monthly bingo fundraisers from March 2011 to February 2012. The bingo fundraisers are held the second Wednesday of each month. The doors open for the event at 6:00pm and the first ball is called at 7:45pm. The Spokesqueen is required to be ready by the time the first ball is called. The game is over by 10:00pm.
The Organization reserves the right to modify or cancel this Search Competition at any time without notice or obligation. By entering this Search Competition, participants agree to hold the organization, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of or in any way connected with the operation of this Search Competition and use of a Prize. Participants of this Search Competition assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Search Competition or use or redemption of a Prize. By participating in this Search Competition, entrants agree to be bound by the Rules and the decisions of the Search Competition judges, which are final.
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual whom it finds to be in violation of these official rules or tampering with the entry process. The Sponsor reserves the right to refuse an entry from a person whose eligibility is in question or who has been disqualified or is otherwise ineligible to enter.
By entering this Search Competition, each entrant also consents to the organization, its agents and/or representatives, storing, using and disclosing the information submitted or provided with each entry for the purpose of administering this Search Competition and the prize in accordance with the organization’s privacy notice.
